The occurrence of urban, rural and poverty in books

Code and Culture pointed me to one of Google’s new toys, the ngrams engine. It allows you to plot the occurrence of keywords in Google Books by year. Here are rural, urban, and poverty plotted. It rather looks like there was a flurry of books on all these subjects in the 1960s, trailing off in the 1970s.
